Dylan Frazier
Dylan Frazier is a 22-year-old professional pickleball player from Mid-Missouri, who happens to be a member of the Show-Me Pickleball Club! Frazier, who studies business at the University of Missouri-Columbia, is part of the Carvana® Professional Pickleball Association (PPA), and plays tournaments sponsored by the association all over the country! Currently, Frazier is ranked sixth in the PPA standings for men's singles players, sixth for men's doubles players, and 18th for mixed doubles players. Some of Dylan's recent accomplishments include winning gold at the 2023 Newport Beach Doubles Shootout in Newport Beach, California, and gold at the 2023 Vulcan Indoor National Championships in Lakeville, Minnesota. Both medals were won in men's doubles with his partner, JW Johnson. Dylan is currently sponsored by Selkirk, a pickleball paddle company.
Dylan started playing pickleball at age 14, when he and his parents played at a recreation center in Florida while visiting family. After coming back home to Missouri, Frazier joined the Show-Me Pickleball Club and started playing the sport constantly. That led to Frazier entering tournaments across the state, deciding to go pro in 2021. The SMPC raised funds for Frazier at the beginning of his professional career, and is delighted to see the progress he has made into becoming a Show-Me Pickleball Star!
Dylan's parents have been important factors in Dylan's career as well. His mother, Cindy, played the sport recreationally while she was in college, and signed up to be Dylan's partner in his first-ever professional tournament! His father, Shawn, is an active member of the Show-Me Pickleball Club. He also built a pickleball court in the family's backyard to help Dylan get extra practice, and helped develop a strong pickleball culture in Jefferson City, Missouri.
